The other day as I was reading my emails I came across a quote by Robin Williams. He said, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s Party!” This is so like Robin Williams. I could just imagine him doing a whole comedy routine around this one statement. In my mind I imagined the birds rocking out as they gathered grass and twigs to build their nests. I saw tulips popping up through the ground singing, “The hills are alive with the sound of music!” And, I saw the cherry trees bursting in bloom and shouting, “Party!”
Yes, all this from his one short statement of, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s Party!” Maybe I had too much sugar or maybe too much coffee, maybe it was a touch of cabin fever and an overactive imagination. I could hear my Granddaughter say, “Whatever, Grandma.” It is amazing though how a simple silly statement can brighten our day – lift our spirits.
