This past weekend my family and I attended the Sugarland concert here near our hometown. We are all huge fans of this country band and we decided it was worth the expense for all 4 of us to go. Our girls are 5 and 9 so this was their first concert. We haven't been to one in years! How fortunate for us that we have a band that all of us really enjoy. We have watched their videos and listened to their music so we thought we had a good idea of what to expect- we were wrong. Sugarland went well beyond anything we could have imagined. It was high energy the entire time we were there. They are amazing entertainers. My girls never sat down- they sang and danced the entire time we were there. I absolutely loved it! Jennifer Nettles is incredible- can anyone in country belt out a song like she does? What an amazing duo. I would spend the money all over again to see them. They do not disappoint! They handed out paper bags to everyone when we got there. In the bag was 1 glow stick and some bubbles. When the bubbles came down from the ceiling they had everyone in the audience blowing bubbles and when they got their glow sticks out they had all of us get ours out as well. At one point Kristian Bush jumped off stage and gave away an autographed guitar to a little girl out in the crowd. Near the end of the evening each of them got into a huge ball- they looked like clear beach balls- and rolled out over the audience where we could all hold them up. What an incredible evening it was!!
